So, I've just found a new favourite movie. Never in my life have I missed a movie in the same minute that it ended but thats exactly how I felt when 'Only You' began to wash over me at the end of Fallen Angels.
The movie excels at exploring how fleeting and fickle love can be, infatuation occurs in an instant but can take so much longer to be forgotten. Loneliness is effortlessly tied to this…
I actually forgot how bad this X-Men movie was. Magneto could literally take on the fight at the end on his own but watches as 100s of his mutant brothers and sisters are mowed down one by one by the X-Men. The whole storyline with Jean was really weird and felt forced in at the last minute so comic fanboys had a recognisable storyline to go and see. Overall, when you can tell the actors don't wanna be there it kinda makes you not wanna watch it and you just feel stupid at the end for wasting your time on such a pointless movie.
Dumpster fire. This feels so much like a youtube skit that just never ends with more and more cringe as it goes on. The acting is horrible and I can't work out if thats intentional or not, worst of all however is that none of the jokes landed. Can't really judge anyone that likes this movie cause my girlfriend laughed the whole time while I just kinda sat there contemplating my life choices.
