Dolores repeats Vera's "Sometimes being a bitch is the only thing a woman has to hang on to," and then Selena repeats that—but Dolores leaves out the part right before that, when Vera says, "Sometimes you have to be a high-riding bitch to survive." I just think that's also pretty iconic and quotable.
Genuinely very confused by the people who believe this movie is overly gracious or sympathetic toward the character at its center, or who go so far as to say it is ambiguous about whether or not she actually did anything wrong. Are the countless incriminating emails she deletes, or the clear pattern of behavior she continues to display, too subtle?
