If this film came out in 2002, it would be called M.I.L.F. Squad, with M.I.L.F. being an acronym for Marauding International Lethal Females. The soundtrack would feature Gwen Stefani, Missy Elliott and Crazy Town's seminal hit Butterfly.

Roger Ebert gives it a phoned-in 2 star-review where he decries 'the lack of a good story' but compares it favorably to Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever. A suggestive PG-13 shower scene set to Fun Lovin' Criminals' Love Unlimited fails to crack Mr. Skin's Top 10 that year.

The film scores a paltry 23% on Rotten Tomatoes, but in the years since has gotten a 'yass queen!'-styled re-appreciation along the likes of Josie and the Pussycats, D.E.B.S. and Jennifer's Body. The two most popular reviews on Letterboxd go something like 'Y'all did this movie dirty' and 'M.I.L.F. Squad-hive assemble!', except without the punctuation.

The Blank Check-guys do a three hour-podcast on it where guest David Ehrlich repeatedly calls M.I.L.F. Squad 'a seminal text on the female gaze' and says it's like "what would happen if David LaChapelle directed An Angel at My Table'.

The director of M.I.L.F. Squad gets hired by Disney to direct a live action-remake of Oliver & Company starring Jonathan Majors and Awkwafina.
