Luca Lagerstrom’s review published on Letterboxd:
I had recently mentioned in my Django Unchained review that i love it when a movie can become one of your favorites as soon as you have seen it. Drive is that film.
Not only is this film now one of my favorites, but also one of the most violent but entertaining movies i have seen in my life.
Let me start off by saying that the score is amazing. I have listened to it over and over again. It perfectly captures the setting and the vibe of the scene.
Ryan Gosling is amazing in this film. Definitely deserved an oscar nomination.
Carey Mulligan was great as always, of course followed by Malcolm In The Middle star, Bryan Cranston.
I literally can't believe this film didnt get nominated once for an oscar. It really is unbelievable.
There isn't much i can say anymore about this, so i will just end it here.
