  Hi, i wrote this for class but i thought i'd upload it here :)

  It may be a cliche to call a film style over substance. Many films get this label, unfairly so because sometimes the style is the substance. But with Midsommar I only see a hollow shell of movie, the shell is well made and well-acted, but a hollow shell, nonetheless. This shell becomes apparent in the films ending.
