I had wanted to watch this film for like a year and I'm so glad I finally got around to watching it because I absolutely fucking loved it.
I genuinely think this is one of my favourite films of all time. I loved everything about it, and I watched it at the perfect time.
I think Emily Perkins and Katharine Isabelle were both great as Brigitte and Ginger and Kris Lemche, who is the main reason I watched Ginger Snaps in the first place because he's the loml, was really good as Sam too.
The soundtrack for this film was amazing, with songs from Glassjaw, Killswitch Engage, Soulfly, and Machine Head, who I coincidentally saw live a few weeks ago. I love metal so this soundtrack was perfect for me.
Another thing I loved about this film was the costumes. Every single outfit was so cool, the whole film was really. The whole aesthetic is right up my alley and I love it.
It was so gory and this film is one of the only films that has actually scared me. I had my eyes covered a lot towards the end of the film and my heart was racing I was actually terrified.
Usually, werewolves are considered very masculine creatures so to have a teenage girl become one is such a feminist move and I love it. I'm going to be thinking about this film for so long.
Can't wait to watch a load of Halloween films this month :)
