lucy’s review published on Letterboxd:
when i first watched this film, it left me with the strangest feeling, but it unpleasant, just strange. i thought it was good, and unlike anything i'd ever seen before.
then i watched it a second time, and i understood it a lot better (probably one of those films you have to watch more than once) and i fell in love with it. the writing of this is so good, and the teenagers are completely believable and natural. this movie is haunting, in the nicest way possible. richard kelly has made a film that is in a genre on its own, and in my opinion, can't be touched by anything.
