If I were to name 3 movies that defined the 2010’s as a decade, one would be The Social Network, the next would be The Emoji Movie, and my last pick would be this beast of a picture - Parasite.

There’s not many films that can achieve this level of nuance, this level of craftsmanship, this level of precision, whilst still being a highly entertaining ride anyone can enjoy. I remember seeing this for the first time back in 2019 and just thinking, as cheesy as it sounds: damn… film might just be the best thing ever.

    The Northman

The only thing I’ll be getting revenge on is Eggers for taking my breath away. This is the kind of film I needed right now. It’s bloody, it’s brutal, it’s controlled, it’s other-wordly, it’s epic, it’s incredible, it’s THE NORTHMAN.

Peak human evolution (and testosterone levels) will be reached when the world gets a Godzilla, Transformers and Pacific Rim collab.

Pom’s humongous, stupid grin while ramming that tank of a police vehicle through the streets of Rome is literally me the entire time watching this movie. My flaws still remain the same, but I somehow enjoyed it even more on rewatch. Visceral and hard-hitting action cinema. Manifesting that Part 2 will be bringing it all the way home!

    Really Light Spoilers (No Context):

My boy Leo really checked a man’s pulse to see if he was still alive after he fell 6 stories and his skull cracked open.

    A Quiet Place Part II

    ★★★½

Apart from the ending, A Quiet Place Part II didn’t really disappoint. There’s a lot of amazing things in this film, but I just really wanted to highlight the performances for a sec. Everyone, and I mean everyone, brought their A-Game. No joke, even the frickin baby’s a better actor than I’ll ever be, lmfao.

Bravo Jim... this might actually be better than the original!

I know Chris Stuckmann mentioned this in his review, but I cannot wait to watch this and the first back-to-back, what a terrific double feature it will be! :D
