Officially dropping all dreams in growing a 3-day stubble beard. I'm going full "Duke Leto" as soon as I get the chance.

    BWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH

Still slaps, and still in love. I said it and I’ll say it again - Nolan is a pretty underrated director. No-one even talks about him, it’s pretty sad. Maybe I’ll watch some of his other movies, I’ve heard pretty good things about them.

    Blonde (2022): The Music Video

Yeah, this just left me feeling really weird, really exhausted, and really uncomfortable, and not in a good way that feels earned. I get that this is trying to make you feel those three specific things among others (I think), but come on man - way too far in too many moments. Our queen deserves better.

The production, costuming and cinematography is one star, and Ana is the other.

Throughout the runtime, I couldn’t help but keep comparing this to Frances Ha. Both follow a very stubborn protagonist struggling to make ends meet, encountering an extremely diverse set of side characters in their journey, moments of humour and comedy interrupted by moments of sorrow and drama, and overall contain an incredibly sweet and endearing story that allows us to follow their respective titular characters every step of the way.

Apart from the ending, A Quiet Place Part II didn’t really disappoint. There’s a lot of amazing things in this film, but I just really wanted to highlight the performances for a sec. Everyone, and I mean everyone, brought their A-Game. No joke, even the frickin baby’s a better actor than I’ll ever be, lmfao.

Bravo Jim... this might actually be better than the original!

I know Chris Stuckmann mentioned this in his review, but I cannot wait to watch this and the first back-to-back, what a terrific double feature it will be! :D
