First half was alright..
Extremely gripping film, was riveted throughout.
Due to the fact it’s shot in one location I think it was easy for this film to be boring so the storytelling had to be on point, and it definitely is.
Found myself incredibly invested in the narrative and characters as the story gradually unfolds and ends with a twist I did not see coming.
Brilliant film, Bong Joon-Ho has truly created a fantastic piece of cinema. Every element of this film is masterful, from the sound to the visuals to the acting, everything.
I personally found the contrasting perspectives of the families to be particularly poignant. Overall the film is very clever in the way it’s told and unfolds, which was something I throughly enjoyed experiencing.

I really loved this film. It took me completely by surprise, a beautiful experience.
Parts of this film had me completely inebriated, others had my jaw on the floor in shock and near the end I was almost brought to tears. I think this film is helmed brilliantly by Trey Edward Shults, who clearly has a passion for filmmaking.
A beautifully shot film with brilliant performances and one of the best soundtracks I’ve heard in a while. Definitely give this film a watch.
