Luke Couch’s review published on Letterboxd:
Loved it a lot more upon a rewatch. Seeing this with subtitles really does allow for the scenes to feel so much more engaging when you have at least half a clue what's going on. The action is really fantastic, especially the kitchen scene and the first reverse fight. I can't imagine how long it must have taken to learn how to fight in reverse but it really pays off. It is a messy film, for sure.
Probably one of the messiest Nolan pictures, but it certainly has a charm and engagement to it that's hard to deny. I could see my enjoying this more and more as I rewatch.
