I can see people liking and enjoying this movie for what it does offer. But for me, this was a joyless experience that was missing complexity and depth to make this an epic-scale fantasy film to rival Lord of the Rings. This, simply put, was a lame movie.

    John Wick: Chapter 4

The new film in the John Wick saga is a true spectacle of an action film. Beautifully and masterfully filmed cinematography that makes it the prettiest and most visually stunning film of the entire series. Simple as you can get but still surprisingly effective with it's characters, the way it tells it's story and the editing. Didn't have any expectations going in and it wasn't super high on my watch-list but i'm glad i put this on as i definitely enjoyed my time with it. It could have benefited with a longer length as it did seem to lack in some places but for the 90 minute runtime we got it still managed to tell the story it needed to tell.

Robert Eggers has crafted a one of a kind film. Every single aspect of this film is just simply spectacular. The cinematography is amazing, the production design is eye-catching, the language is authentic and the performances from Pattinson & Dafoe are some of the best of their careers.

The Lighthouse ticked all the boxes i look for in the movies i really enjoy with the major one being "insane but fun". I loved the whole plot of these two lighthouse keepers…
