My joint favourite film of all time and it is definitely one I can go on and on about. Everything about it gives me goosebumps and I love it. It was released in the IMAX in China and I jumped at the chance to experience this again. It amplified everything that was already good about the film. From the amazing score by Hans Zimmer to the breathtaking images of space and the various planets they visit.

    There Will Be Blood

I've been waiting for the moment that I would truly love one of this man's films and, although I had a sneaky suspicion this may be the case, I have found it.

This film is an absolute masterpiece from start to finish and features two of the best performances I have seen from Daniel Day-Lewis and Paul Dano. Both actors, who we all know are supremely talented produce their best work in my…

Before I start I just want to say this film treaded the line between 4 1/2 and 5 stars. It was definitely one of the more difficult decisions I have had to make and it led me to think about ratings themselves. People will look at this being rated 4 1/2 and say “OH MY GOD. Is there a bigger event movie out there? I don’t think so and many complain about the slow build-up to the epic finale but I feel like it is so earned. It also helps to watch Infinity War just before so you feel like you are taking in everything that just happened. Almost like you are watching a 4-5 epic from the 50’s or 60’s.

I will never get tired of these films and I can’t wait to see where they go next.

So, where do you even start with a film like this? It has so many levels that I wouldn't even know where to start.

The performances are outstanding and I instantly connected with the relationship between Heloise and Marianne. You could feel the connection between them, the tension, the need they had for each other. I think that is one of the most difficult things to feel when watching a film but I felt every moment. It's almost as if…
