Luke Robertson’s review published on Letterboxd:
I genuinely forgot how much fun this film is. I have such a good time watching it when I put it on but I haven't seen it in such a long time. I love the take on early Han Solo and remember initially leaving the cinema wanting to see a sequel or some kind of spin-off.
Crimson Dawn is so fascinating and of course, it features *SPOILER Darth Maul* SPOILER which always helps. I think something focusing on the crime syndicates around the Empire would be easy money for Disney and if it is anywhere near the level of The Mandalorian I would love it.
There is also so much more still to tell about Solo himself as well. He's a fan favourite character and although the film didn't do too well in the box office I think there is potential. It had such a feel-good factor throughout the film and had the classic Star Wars quips in there. I still get a kick from "I have a good feeling about this."
I know this is not much of a review really but I would recommend this if you want a bit of light-hearted Star Wars fun.
