🎃Luke Williams🎃’s review published on Letterboxd:
Happy 88th anniversary to the granddaddy of the kaiju genre, King Kong. When I was a kid, there was a period where I wanted to watch this movie literally every day. I'm sure my family got sick of it. I know my brother John did. It took him years to finally accept this movies greatness! This movie is still as great today as it was the first time I saw it. It is a timeless adventure full of exciting moments. Admittedly, there is some racism and sexism that didn't age well, but that is a product of the time this film was made, and it doesn't affect my enjoyment of the film too much. King Kong is an icon, and his story remains impactful to this day.
