This is such a visually pleasing film. I do wish some shots were filmed better because the locations are insane. Yes this is a slightly cringe movie, yes it is insanely nostalgic, and yes I love it with all my heart <33

Jenny the donkey dying was probably one of the saddest movie deaths and I fecking stand by that.
Acting was great, a very different story that I haven’t seen before but that’s what kept me hooked. Obviously barry keoghan was brilliant at playing a little weird chap as usual, but I did feel bad for him constantly throughout with all his family and friend issues. The music in this was very eerie and suspenseful which suited the isolation of the film well, and really brought the whole thing together…
