Truly lost as to why more people aren’t enjoying this movie. It has everything you’d want from a legacy sequel. Great action, clever plot twists, cool new characters & a story that simultaneously builds on and critiques the lore of The Matrix.

    What’s the problem here?

The Call is an excellent horror, thriller and drama that demands your attention from scene to scene. There are two points in time connected by a phone line, in which two characters interact.

These interactions begin as playful and sweet, however quickly turn into much more sinister and harrowing calls. Excellently portrayed and delivered too. Park Shin-hye and Jeon Jong-seo did an absolutely phenomenal job as the two leads and I loved watching them interact through the phone calls. Both…

Really just a whole lot of fun. Really great action and some of the set pieces were really well designed and choreographed. For the most part I really enjoyed the three main characters, especially a lot of fun seeing Song Kang-ho showing off his comedic talents. Really great and hype soundtrack too. Overall a good blast of a time.

The Night Comes for Us is an absolute thrill ride from start to finish, very rare a dull moment and always intoxicating to watch.

The movie takes itself very seriously and it honestly pays off, this is not a typical action movie by any standards, especially by the Hollywood standard. Gruesome, horrific, violent and dark the movie explores many deep themes and doesn't shy away from showing graphic violence on screen. The story follows Ito, our protagonist on a path…
