    at best: a decent documentary that shows only one part of the press freedom issue in the philippines. at worst: a film that only caters to the middle-class, western taste (by god, the language of the docu was so atenean, and i’m not kidding), and excludes the narratives of the “common filipino”.

    the only thought recurring in my head while watching this film was a quote from hayao miyazaki:
