Road to Mank Part 7
Too goddamned funny... I used to have this as my second lowest rated Fincher. What was I thinking? One of Pitt’s best performances and some of Fincher’s most “cool” and “fun” stylings. The ultimate straightforward takedown of 90s consumerism, does what Repo Man did for the 80s.
The “twist” can raise some questions, but ultimately it’s a fun and really well made film with some poignant commentary and just great work all around. Not sure what’s keeping this from a 100, but it was really great on this rewatch.
Also this is way better than J*ker.
