Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Star Wars: The Last Jedi ★★★★

This movie will clearly keep up it's divisive nature for some time, but it is definitely my second most favorite Star Wars chapter. (Behind Empire, which, of course was also divisive for a long period of time too.) There were some great choices, and some weird ones. But it all makes for a very interesting turn to the formula. Also I miss Carrie Fisher every day (and I stan Benicio DT and Laura Dern) so I could never truly hate this movie.

Most people need to shut the fuck up and realize that this is just as worthy of the Star Wars name as any other thing in the franchise.

"Pass on what you have learned. Strength. Mastery. But weakness, folly, failure also. Yes, failure most of all. The greatest teacher, failure is. Luke, we are what they grow beyond. That is the true burden of all masters."
