There’s highs and lows with Baumbach and Gerwig’s screenplay, but they’re probably the only ones who could have pulled this off so respect to them. Also has Ryan Gosling casually dropping one of the best comedic performances of all time.

    a precisely-timed orchestration of violent crescendos and denzel one-liners. fuqua operates as a modern day pulp blockbuster director, consistently churning out serviceable and at most glossily-directed movies every time. there's no big enough reason to make a third equalizer movie, but denzel/fuqua knows what the masses want and so they always deliver.
