*youtuber voice*: STORY TIME!!!
first I'd like to say that what I watched of this movie was shit and I don't understand why people like it. why was there a five second delay every time Strong Silent Handsome Driver Man and Single Mother of Biracial Child spoke to each other? this movie would have been about half an hour if you took out all that dead fucking space. Ryan Gosling's character was stupid and boring, the music sounded like noise, and the graphic, unnecessary violence was so clearly tailored for shock value it amazed me. I haven't seen the end yet, granted, but I'm just going to assume it also sucks as I'm never watching this movie again. probably.
anyway! so i have a history of passing out, last time it happened was years ago. also for some reason any time I see someone's arm getting injured on-screen I get all fucked up and so during that scene where that dude slashes bryan cranston's arm I started to feel sick and dizzy, like I was dreaming and then I woke up on the couch not knowing what happened or where I was or how much time had passed? so I got up and went to the washroom still feeling like im drunk and my bf got home shortly after and he saw me and was like wtf u good and i'm like no so he goes to get me water and when he comes back he has to shake me awake because I passed out in there as well! so yeah that was great. once I was stable he turned the movie off and deleted it from my computer lmfao. BUT YEAH fuck you nicholas winding refn for being the Worst!! and for making bad movies and also for almost sending me to the hospital👍
