Dune 2021
A pretty obvious allegory for oil, colonialism, and the Middle East but still good. Really beautiful editing and cinematography and some neat ship designs. The entire cast is really, really hot, which might be fogging my judgment of the film as a whole but I’d be lying if I said I did not wholly enjoy it. The fact that there’s legitimately a character named “Duncan Idaho” really does take you out of the narrative though.
