Wannabe film buff :)
This movie has me in shambles, I think that’s the right word,,, I’m settling on it for now we’ll see how I feel in an hour or two. Wow. I’ve been excited for this to become available since all the Sundance hype and sure enough, this didn’t disappoint.
This documentary seems mundane at first. It’s a look into the somewhat jaded views of a group of 1100, mostly conservative, mostly white, boys from Texas. I went into this thinking I’d get a little angry hearing some of their thoughts on WOMENS reproductive rights, immigration, and gun control; and of course I was right, a lot of the outspoken…
Some of this hit a little too close to home but I think that’s why I enjoyed it so much. While I didn’t want to resonate with parts of it, I still did and I can’t really help that.
There is nothing more mortifying than being asked a million questions you can’t answer by people you hardly know, or worse, people who’ve known you your whole life.

I understand that Lynch isn’t for everyone, and I’m not going to act like it is, but this is an absolute feat that I’m glad I finally got around to watching.
I’m obsessed with every small stylistic choice Lynch makes in order to truly engulf the viewer into the world he has created.
