New favorite movie, easily. Takes so many chances with its style and camerawork that I couldn’t even breathe. My breath was taken away and thrown in a dumpster fire. A hodgepodge of everything I love in a movie and then some. Surreal and dreamy and absolutely devastating and beautiful. The photo booth scene changed my life. The look changed my life. I just know yesterday I was really feeling overwhelmed with picking a fresh movie to watch and this... this just slapped me in the face harder than I could’ve anticipated.
