Dirk Diggler’s review published on Letterboxd:
A hyper-violent, beautiful, badass, cartoonish and thoroughly enjoyable greek tragedy-esque revenge tale that is the obvious influence to Tarantino's Kill Bill in both concept and aesthetics. Lady Snowblood is heavily stylized with a killer use of quick zooms, it's super gory with fast-paced sword action and blood "exploding" out of bodies like geysers, and it also manages to cram in some historical and social commentary. I loved the cinematography, the soundtrack, the slice that cut that bitch in half, all it's ridiculous lines, and the cold-blooded and deadly assassin fueled by vengeance. Such a perfectly executed, fun and engaging flick.
