    Wavering between 3.5/4– as it does tackle the moral obligations that aren’t often handled in films of similar subject matter. 


    A three part narrative that slowly reveals itself through careful interpretation of all parties. I’m glad I was finally able to see this, it was my most anticipated film for a long time. Comer and Driver are each my favorite actors working today so having them cast in the same film was obviously very exciting.

    A charming story purely about family amidst the upheaval of political turmoil. While this film brings about some interesting premises, it never fully dives into what could’ve been a surging drama for me. The black and white cinematography along with deliberate framing is very stylish, and the soundtrack added to the immersion. There’s a ridiculous amounts of cuts with the editing and angles that don’t necessarily add to the dialogue or anything. Something that really took me out of this…
