This was fine. It has a very cool concept and Chris Hemsworth is a lot of fun. He's like a cross between Oscar Isaac in Ex Machina and Ed Harris in The Truman Show. He keeps the movie constantly entertaining.
It never has the impact it's aiming for and the script unfotunately avoids many potential interesting questions by playing it way too safe. With more consistent directing and a more developed script this could've been great, but I still surprisingly liked it all things considered.
It's not as generic as it could've been, which I appreciate. It still needed more thought put into it, but otherwise, pretty decent. I can't guarantee it's going to stick with you, but I do believe it's worth watching, at the very least for Chris Hemsworth.
