When the trailers for this came out, I sort of brushed it off because it just seemed gloomy and grim to me, despite the obvious subject at hand. However, people change and I changed, so I decided to give it a go anyways and I ended up really enjoying it.

It is well shot and interestingly directed and it changed Lovesong by The Cure for me, I literally didn't ask for anything else.
