  The older I get the younger River Phoenix appears to be. I haven’t watched this in some years but gosh he’s just a little kid (teenager, really, but still!). Such a talented young actor. Such a loss for us all.

  The apparent arrogance of the old men who were part of the initial NRC commission, STILL claiming they did nothing wrong, is grossly astonishing. Especially that Lake Barrett guy. Labeling the concerned citizens of the community as hysterical and soap opera dramatics. He’s despicable. Fuck him, honestly. 

  I generally support nuclear energy…it is so clean, and truly renewable. But there’s no room for error, no shortcuts, no cutting corners for safety. That’s why it really is so upsetting to learn…
