Superior in all ways to everything that came before, or since. I LOVED this. The effects, the human story, the emotion, the OG music during the end credits. What a great, great movie.
Seriously though...the effects of Godzilla, and Godzilla destroying Tokyo, are incredible. Just flawless. Better than all the crap the US produces for visual effects.
