Never seen this movie until now. OMG! I never realized this movie was sort of a prequel to Silence of the Lambs until I started watching it and Hannibal Lecktor was introduced. I am not a huge fan of the serial killer genre with a notable few exceptions (Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, Red Dragon, Se7en, The Bone Collector, to name a few), but Manhunter was an amazing film all-around with incredibly solid performances by the entire cast. Michael Mann did a superb job and I am happy to add this film to my list.
