I loved this one. This is the famous Talking Heads concert film directed by Jonathan Demme, shot over three nights. I already like David Byrne and the Talking Heads so I'm already predisposed to liking this but I was still wondering, what is so special about this particular concert film? I saw it and, wow. If you've never heard of the Talking Heads before, this is a superb introduction to their music. If you're already fan, this is an absolute essential. Just as a piece of film, it is beautifully shot and it really captures the beauty, joy and artistry of the Talking Heads and sweeps you up as if you were really there. It's magical really. Suffice to say, the music is fantastic. One of Jonathan Demme's best works, indeed.
