MAX’S SHOCKTOBER DAY 3: FANTASY/SUPERNATURAL HORROR
Starts out very strong with a kick ass atmosphere and aesthetic, but quickly loses steam and wavers in and out of highs and lows for the rest of the run time. It is at its best when it lets the surreal Lewis Carrol power overtake, and it’s at its worst when it gets into long scenes that are half gibberish and involve humans breastfeeding each other. Also the end? Huh? Interesting.
Like Alice In Wonderland meets Mirror. Also, I wish there were more tanks cause that first one is so cool, but I’m guessing that’s like all the budget.
