Twenty-Nine Days Gone...and what's Amy up to?
Well, she's up to the fucking label.
Part Hitchcock, part Kubrick, Fincher's coolly brushed steel style manages to somehow hide the glaring moments of silliness to produce a truly absorbing thriller and a delicious and beautifully performed black comedy. This is a great film experience, but I'm not altogether sure it will stand up to repeated viewings.
An extra star at least for Tyler Perry's amused 'White folk' expression in his final scene.
