The Female has been expressly designed to entice and lure males of the target species, delivering them to be harvested for their meat. She's tracked by an ever-lurking handler, who monitors her for aberrant personality growth and acts as a deterrent against attempts to deviate from her prescribed role. Her body autonomy was revoked before she was born but this isn't considered to be an…

How can you go on living once you've chosen evil and the consequences are closing in and it's too late for dreams, too late for forgiveness, too late even for acceptance of fate? Mixed feelings. I can see this being very cathartic for people who just want to see a fearless lesbian 'girlboss' out there killing it, ethically or not. And a ruthless Rosamund Pike really does kill it here! I can't remember the last time I was so angry at a character on-screen, I was so pissed at her I was ready to set my TV on fire just to watch her sort of burn! So that aspect is terrific; great writing,…

Predictable as a sunrise but stubbornly holds your attention anyway. Megan Fox teleports out of danger like a dozen times in this movie. I wonder if it's any great missed opportunity that she hasn't been a Bond girl?

Interesting in a historical sense as Coppola's first picture though not a terribly engaging thing to just sit and watch. The climax is very Psycho-esque, but I don't think this movie ever achieves anywhere near that film's level of thrill.

Yeahhhhh I think Bond is ready for another refresh. And I don't simply mean recasting James Bond, I mean the overall formula needs some shaking and stirring as well.

To be clear, I like Daniel Craig. As a viewer who is only casually interested in this franchise I think he's done a tremendous job as 007, but his era of films have walked the tightrope of having an overarching story featuring the same evil faction plus having each movie work…
