You are now formally obliged to apologise to every single movie you ever called messy because this is the king of messy films.
The movie follows as a young man finds the ‘organic’ alien armour suit known as Guyver that attaches to his body. His girlfriend’s father is murdered for stealing it and Mark Hamill plays a grim CIA agent trying to figure out what really happened. This movie bombs in pretty much everything it tries to show. The acting is comical at best and the dialogue and pacing leave much to be desired. While I appreciated the use of practical effects, they were lost on me when I found nothing about them to keep me interested. A messy, messy film that, at best, can force you into a few laughs
