ok a lot of this was VERY relatable (I am a child of immigrants who moved away from home and is in an interracial relationship)
I am happy a story like this is being told but even with the relatability aspect I felt like I had to try really hard to feel fully invested in the main character’s story
a lot of the world (especially those of the remaining elements) felt underdeveloped as well
