I may be really tired of super hero movies or something but the Lizzie McGuire Movie really was better right, RIGHT???
Seriously though, it won't surprise anyone or even be a criticism for most people but I just felt like watching the same damn MCU movie over again with really nothing allowing it to stand on its own in comparison to the previous ones: SO MANY JOKES not all necessarily bad but still SO MANY OF THE SAME OLD TIRED MCU JOKES along with the SAME OLD AND EVEN TOO LOUD CGI BATTLE (ok that's me, i'm just really old) while Peter realizes AGAIN that being a super hero isn't JUST fun and CGI battles. AGAIN.
The cast is still fun in doing the same old shenanigans and Jake Gyllenhaal remains fun enough as the bitchy Mysterio, as expected.
Still the fact that the best and most memorable part is that a certain actor reprises a role he played in previously much better Spider-man films is kinda telling.
