Wow. What an avant-garde indie film. I was utterly blown away by the kinomatography/camerawork, lighting, set design, framing, composition, visual motifs, colour palette, editing, and mise-en-scène. Incredible & enthralling performances. The film was up there with underrated & overlooked classics like Angst (1983) (Dir. Gerald Kargl) and Threads (1984) (Dir. Mick Jackson). Those hack frauds Michael Haneke (Who based his entire “Filmmography” and essentially stole from Robert Bresson & Chantal Akerman) and Gaspar Noé (Fundamentally stole his entire visual & tonal style from Taxi Driver [1976], Suspiria [1977], and Eraserhead [1977]) could ever only wish replicate true kino like this. Instead they just spit out weird sex pervert “film” after weird sex pervert “film” hoping to even come close to what this filmè achieved. “Melancholia” (2008) (Dir. Lav Diaz) is a movie like none other. You won't see another like it if you live to be 69,420.

11/10, this is the definition of Über Kino.
