Absolutely incredible. Capturing the idea of "what is the truth," this film shows what exactly the truth means to Tonya Harding, the notorious figure skater. Let me just say, if Margot Robbie doesn't win the Oscar for this, I'll be shocked. The scene of her fighting tears while putting on her makeup is worthy of an Oscar alone. When I watched it, all I could think of was Natalie Portman in Jackie during the scene where she's sobbing and wiping blood off her face.
A mixture of hilarious, emotional, and hopeful, I, Tonya covers all kinds of ground effortlessly. Margot has an incredible future ahead of her, and I'm just so happy for her and can't wait to see what she does next.
