What a piece of crap...
There were a few bits that amused me, but the rest of it was just lazy writing, throwaway or dragged-out jokes, stolen audio from "Lord of the Rings" (there are Ringwraith screams), and a hidden message that basically says "Religion is stupid." Some parts were visually stunning, and Christian Bale did a fine job, but there were some instances you could tell he was trying to get a good performance out of mediocre writing.
Yet another really exciting motion picture event that has failed to live up to the hype it has generated.
