Marna Larsen’s review published on Letterboxd:
Incredibly silly (and long-seeming for a movie which it turns out was only an hour and 17 minutes long). Still, I had a really fun time with the romantic hijinks. *spoilers* Peter Gallagher leaves the priesthood for Jennifer Tilly (can't say I blame him there) ice queen Bev's husband gets with ghostly Daryl Hannah, who then becomes human while her ex husband (who also killed her) somehow works out his issues to be with a now-ghostly Bev (because the women you stab to death when they refuse to perform their wifely duties just weren't the right ones for you). Good thing there are no hard feelings! Oh and they save the haunted inn of course. And the great sets and costumes keep the slow yet weirdly choppy pacing from becoming too annoying. Also it takes place around Halloween! I just have to decide if this goes with my other Halloween movies or my Media vhs's! Gotta say, I love this time of year. Sorry I was grouchy yesterday! Peace!
