    Warlock

Incredibly under-seen western from a greatly anticipated director for me, Edward Dmytryk. Unsure whether I prefer it to his noir Crossfire, both hold strong casts giving great performances, and both of their scripts are honestly amazing. Not much to say on this, just wish more people would see it. God Henry Fonda is magnificent.

Patricia Highsmith’s iconic character of Tom Ripley has been brought to life by many, although this is the only adaptation I’ve seen, and I’m not much of a reader so I haven’t read the classic Ripley’s Game; I think it’s safe to say Wim Wender’s was more than successful in his attempt to demonstrate her ideas and themes she wanted to express through the character.

The American Friend is quite the picture, Wim Wender’s directs the shit out of it and…

    Don't Bother to Knock

Fast paced, confined, and thrilling fun with a psychotic babysitter, unsuspecting pilot, and seemingly abusive elevator operator. Each scene slowly showing the psychotic behaviours of Monroe’s intriguing character. Can’t say I loved it a lot but it certainly was a lot of fun. Poor Jed.
