I had a great time with this movie. The Nice Guys has consistent laughs from start to finish, I was dying of laughter at many points. Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling are also so fucking great together. Their chemistry is terrific, and Gosling in particular really steals the show. The dialogue is so great it's ridiculous, there are so many lines here that Ill be remembering for a long time. Action scenes are put together well here and directed pretty good, the story is layered and well done, and the score and cinematography are both fucking fantastic. A few problems I had here were that the story kind of lost me at points, I really could not follow it here and there. Also their really was not any menacing threat on the bad side of things, that felt sorta wasted. I look forward to re-watching this to get a better understanding of the plot an d certain characters, but for now I did definitely enjoy it. Its funny as fuck, has some good action, and an interesting enough story to get invested in. Also, the little girl who plays Goslings daughter was fantastic. Definitely a great watch.
