Rumble Fish

Rumble Fish is a beautiful film. A coming of age about a wild young man, who seems to be fighting against his own roots and trying to find himself.

The film is extremely dreamy at times, the town (at night especially) is like a gloomy and dark, with this hypnotic fog flowing through the streets, space that contains all the freedom and rebellious nature of Rusty James, but, at the same time, his boundaries to his past, his father, his home town and, mainly, his brother, in which he projects his ideal self.

I love that Rumble Fish is pretty hard to fully describe, it's images say a lot more than what I might say it is about.
