“Germany will soon be empty.”
THIS. WAS. BRUTAL.
A simple premise with a really impactful plot, the cinematography is wild! The colours are so vibrant and it somehow makes the brutal depiction of war seem even more extreme. Some of the scenes in this movie is pretty insane, the last battle sequence is one of the best I’ve seen. The tempo and pacing is immaculate and the production design and effects are next level. The score mixes in these electronic elements that I particularly enjoyed and honestly there’s not much to complain about regarding the overall filmmaking, it’s just so well made. I’m just gonna say it; not just better than the original, this is on-par with something like Saving Private Ryan.
Overall,
Amazing! So well put together every aspect from the acting to the camerawork is truly perfect. I was expecting it to be good but nothing close to this level of quality.
