HEAR ME OUT:
First off; I have not read the books and I don’t know anything about Stephanie Meyer but I have a sneaking suspicion that she took some pretty traumatic experiences that happened to herself and turned it into a satirical fantasy novel. I might be speaking out of my ass but there’s some big red flags 🚩 mostly regarding relationships f.ex there’s clear signs of controlling behavior, manipulation, gaslighting, threats of violence and even instances of violence. the weird thing is it feels like real abuse, not fantastical or theatrical. I’ve had this underlying feeling since I started watching them and it’s weird but I can’t shake it and I don’t like any of the male protagonists. Especially Jacob who literally tells Bella he might be abusive because he can’t help himself (2nd movie.) So in conclusion I theorize with the minuscule knowledge I have of the books that Stephanie Meyer wrote a Psychological Satire! She purposely put in extremely toxic traits and fooled the entire world by having them fall in love with extremely abusive and toxic stereotypes.
About the movie:
A fine conclusion to a pretty bad Saga and so much build-up and it leads to nothing, the twist is so stupid. A lot of weird shit, like the CGI Baby.. The CGI in general is very bad in this.. Ends like all franchises do, in a big fight…
Bunch of decapitations and shit. I’m not impressed.. Not impressed at all! It’s so fucking stupid.. not the worst entry but you can’t unironically say that these movies are good because this is objectively bad.
What a fucking ride this was 😂
