    C'mon C'mon

rarely does a movie succeed in making emotional in the first 30 minutes. when a movie does what c'mon c'mon does, it sorta stops being a movie and becomes an experience and a memory i will cherish for life. it feels like beautiful poetry. it strikes close to the heart. having patience for those we love even when its hard. expressing your emotions, building strong bonds with kids and talking to them like people. right now im in college, studying…

kristen stewart completely transforms herself into princess diana and loses herself in the role. such an amazing performance and her best i would say. the movie is packed with intense moments of dread and anxiety accompanied by a beautiful score from johnny greenwood. its not without its moments of catharsis that brought me absolute joy. such a beautiful experience of a movie that reminded me why i love movies.

  • Eternals

gonna start off my saying this is probably one of the few mcu movies that are absolutely gorgeous. i mean the cinematography is just great and the visual effects are beautiful. i think chloe zhao tried her best to make this the most different and original comic book movie she could and it definitely feels different from the other marvel movies, but the movie lacks interesting character development. the main characters, sersi and ikaris, were boring and i felt no…

  • The Matrix Resurrections

    The Matrix Resurrections

i honestly cant decide if i like this movie or not. the way it starts is fantastic and it continues with this meta commentary about franchise revival and this existential story about neo. some of the dialogue is really cringe, but it was an interesting concept i wished was explored more. sadly the rest of the movie is not as interesting. whenever these movies show us the real world, i just lose all interest. it looks like every grey sci…

  • Spider-Man: Far From Home

    Spider-Man: Far From Home

probably the least spider-man movie to spider-man. i used to love this movie back when i was crazy over the mcu spider-man, but seeing it again its not a spider-man movie i would consider to be one of the better ones. its certainly not as good as homecoming or even the no way home which i consider to be great movies that have some of my favorite spider-man moments and allow tom holland to really shine as the character. im…

  • Spider-Man: No Way Home

    Spider-Man: No Way Home

ill make this a spoiler free review because theres a lot to go into detail about and i wanna make this short. spider-man no way home has a lot to love about. first of it actually gives the character of peter parker some tragedy like previous movies before this iteration did. its not lighthearted all the way through. its still an mcu movie tho. the comedy is still what it was and it still attains that same charming high school…

    The Wolf of Wall Street

It's ironic how this movie portrays what a corrupt and perverted amoral life Jordan Belfort led with zero ounce of redeemability by the end AND yet I see people in the yt comment section on random clips praising jordan for his motivational speeches...when they'd be the types of people he'd scam...
