Matthew Noble’s review published on Letterboxd:
"Awful things happen in every apartment house."
Well this was disappointing. Where Repulsion was an intense, enthralling, unpredictable ride of a film, Rosemary's Baby is... kind of a slog. Within half an hour you can work out who everyone is, what everything means, and (to some extent) how it's all going to end, and you just spend the rest of the protracted runtime waiting for the protagonist to catch up. And yeah, I get that the systematic loss of Rosemary's agency is in itself a terrifying concept, but I don't think the idea was translated particularly well. Oh well, hopefully The Tenant ends the Apartment Trilogy on a high note.
