There’s a lot to love about this movie but I want to focus on the ending.
Spoilers: I think it was a pretty dark ending. I think we’re lead to believe that none of these 3 men who barely escaped the story with their lives are actually going to conquer their problems with alcohol. It looks pretty convincing to me that they’re all going to relapse hard, their families will fall apart, they’ll most likely lose their jobs, and they’ll probably die of alcoholism. The ending isn’t exactly spelled out, so in a way it is open-ended therefore I’m really curious how everyone else interpreted it.
It’s definitely a damn good movie though!
